First Visit

At Root Care Endodontics, your first appointment will include a detailed consultation where we review your dental history, discuss your symptoms, and explain your diagnosis along with the recommended treatment options. In many cases, treatment can be performed on the same day as your consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or require a more involved treatment plan, we may schedule a separate visit for the procedure.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To help us serve you efficiently, please bring the following items to your first visit:
* Your referral slip and any recent X-rays (if available)
* A list of current medications
* Your medical or dental insurance information and any completed insurance forms
Providing this paperwork in advance helps us process your claim more quickly.
Important: Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the consultation.

Medical Conditions to Disclose

Please inform our office ahead of time if you have any medical conditions that may affect your treatment, such as:
* Diabetes
* High blood pressure
* Artificial heart valves or joints
* History of rheumatic fever
Also notify us if you are taking medications such as:
* Heart medications
* Aspirin
* Anticoagulants
Or if you require antibiotics prior to dental procedures.

X-Rays

If your dentist has taken recent X-rays (within the last 6 months), please request that they send them directly to our office. If time does not permit, you may bring the X-rays with you. Should additional imaging be required, we can take new X-rays at our facility.
